Our studio brings together experienced designers, offering expertise in planting, hard landscaping and delivery of large projects.
Rosie holds a BSc in Plant Science, a Diploma in Garden Design and is qualified to RHS level three so we understand which plants will thrive.
We have experience of the hands on build of gardens as well as their design so we also understand the intricacies of a build project. Our experience of looking after gardens means we create spaces which are easy to maintain.
So what do you get from working with us?
We have a hands on, practical approach. In our first meeting we will listen carefully to what you would like to achieve and then will do a detailed site survey. If your site is large or complex we recommend a professional topographical survey and can introduce you to surveyors.
We will consider how often you use the space and how, colours that will work, storage, drainage, children, entertaining and how to make your garden the best room in the house. We will then work in the studio using powerful CAD software to plan the perfect design.
We will return with a suggested design, sketches of how it will look, construction drawings for contractors to work with, planting plans showing final spreads of the planting and specifications ready to be costed. If you like we can then oversee the project, preparing specification and tender documentation, overseeing the tender process and appointing a contractor with you. We are then happy to be on site helping translate the drawings into the finished build and solving problems that come up along the way. We can also supply plants and furniture for you and do guided trade nursery buying trips.
So why work with a garden design practice?
Having a professional design means the finished garden looks and feels well thought out. We understand which plants will work in the scale, and which hard landscaping elements will make the garden flow seamlessly around the house. We keep an eye on costs, making sure the project stays on budget. We understand what maintenance is necessary and will create a garden that looks great and will suit your lifestyle.
Last but not least, working with us is an enjoyable process, we work with clients in partnership from start to finish, and we love sharing the fantastic gardens with them on completion.
