Project Description
My clients have a small child and entertain at home most weekends. The garden needed to be child friendly, low maintenance and to look great – as well as provide space for 8 people to eat and to cook outside. We built an outdoor kitchen using a Firemagic countertop grill for convenience and a raised hardwood bench. A small area is included for growing vegetables and there is even a real lawn. Shiplap cladding on the boundaries lessens the disputes with the neighbours as three fences remain intact – one wall was rebuilt following the removal of a neighbours tree. The garden is now an extension of the family kitchen and a place to eat and play outdoors all year.
